The portal reported that the French forward would be close to reaching an agreement with the American institution. If this first approach is finalized, André-Pierre Gignac would share a dressing room with Antoine Griezmann, a former Atlético de Madrid player who will join the club after the 2026 World Cup.

The French forward will seek his second Concachampions this Saturday, May 30. The UANL Tigres will visit the Toluca Red Devils at the Nemesio Diez Stadium. This trophy would be the perfect way to conclude Gignac’s cycle with the Tigers.
