Donald Trump Jr., son of the president of the nation, is part of a scandal that arose after a company where he allegedly has some participation as a partner, received nearly $700 million in loans from federal agencies.
ProPublica, an American non-profit investigative journalism organization, recently published a work in which it claims to have discovered how North Carolina-based rare earth magnet startup Vulcan Parts received a $620 million direct loan from the Pentagon and another $50 million from the Department of Commerce.
Although the company’s commitment was to produce 10,000 metric tons of magnets per year in the United States, The controversial thing about the matter is that, three months before benefiting from the enormous amount of money mentioned, Donald Trump Jr. acquired a percentage of shares in said firm.

Suspecting that the current federal administration benefited from the enormous loan to Vulcan Parts due to the fact that it largely belongs to President Trump’s son, a group of Democrats sent a jointly signed letter to Susie Wiles, White House chief of staff, demanding that she clarify the situation before the 16th of the current month.
“We are writing to demand a full explanation of what appears to be a blatant example of corruption by the Trump administration, involving the White House providing a lucrative Department of Defense loan to a company with financial ties to the Trump family.
The American public, and endangered members of the military, expect the Department of Defense’s contracting process to be fair, impartial, and competitive to ensure that only the best companies, offering only the best products, receive taxpayer dollars.
If the report is accurate, it reveals a staggering level of corruption and influence peddling that was diverted from this process, enriching the president’s son at the expense of national security. of the United States and taxpayers’ money,” indicates part of the document promoted by Senators Elizabeth Warren (Massachusetts), Richard Blumenthal (Connecticut) and Mazie Hirono (Hawaii), and Representatives Jason Crow (Colorado), as well as Mike Levin (California).
