Univision is preparing to premiere one of the most anticipated soap operas for this second quarter of the year: “Guardian of my life”, starring Silvia Navarro and Daniel Arenas. The public knew this drama as “Amor en custodia”, a story full of love, drama, comedy and suspense from the year 2005 on the Telefe network for Argentine television, produced by Claudio Meilan.
On Televisa we also had one of its many versions: “Amorestrues” from 2012, which featured the leading roles of Eduardo Yanez as a partner of Erika Buenfil and Sebastian Rulli with Eiza González.
Now, together with the leading couple, we have Paulina Goto and Diego Klein. That said, “Guardian of my life” will hit the screen next May 18 at 9 pm Eastern / 8 pm Central and will be available on ViX the next day.
The stellar cast is completed by outstanding figures such as Sergio Sendel, Kimberly Dos Ramos, Roberta Damián, Alejandro Camacho, Tiago Correa, Rodolfo Salasamong others.
The plot, according to TelevisaUnivision in a statement, follows a successful businesswoman and her bodyguard, who will discover that no one can protect them from love. At the same time, his daughter and a young custodian will transform rebellion into passion. But what none of them know is that ambitious enemies will try to twist the destinies that the heart has already chosen.
The story is under the production of Juan Osorio; “Guardian of my life” is a new version of the successful melodrama “True Loves”, reinvented for a new generation with a fresh narrative, complex characters and high production values.
