US President Donald Trump said this Wednesday in a Fact post that China “has agreed not to send weapons to Iran” and reminded his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, that the United States “is good at fighting, if we have to.”
In the Fact post he stated that ““China is very happy that I am permanently opening the Strait of Hormuz.” and added: “I also do it for them and for the world”.
“President Xi is going to give me a big fat hug when I get there (China) in a few weeks. “We are working intelligently and very well. Isn’t that better than fighting?” added the US president.
Trump closed his remarks with a reminder of American military power to Xi: “BUT REMEMBER, we are very good at fighting, if we have to. Much better than anyone else.”.

The US president plans to travel to China in mid-May, after delaying his visit to meet with Xi due to the war against Iran, started on February 28 by the United States and Israel.
Trump has said in recent hours that the war “is about to end” and that there will be new peace negotiations with Iran after the failure of the first round in Islamabad (Pakistan).
Next Wednesday marks the second week of the ceasefire agreementduring which the strategic Strait of Hormuz has remained militarily closed by Iran.
This week the US decided to deploy another layer to prevent oil tankers and merchant ships originating from or destined for Iranian ports from being able to leave or enter the Persian Gulf with the intention of stifling Tehran’s ability to obtain resources through that route, something that would also affect China and other countries that have agreed on safe passage with the Iranian regime.
