A Hispanic man suspected of killing his wife in Los Angeles and kidnapping his 5-year-old daughter He would have escaped to Mexico after the vehicle in which he escaped was found near the border.
Rubén Fregoso, 40, is wanted by the California Highway Patrol (CHP) and the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) as a suspect in kidnapping his daughter Daleza Fregoso, 4 years old, and in the murder of the girl’s mother in the West Adams neighborhood.
Since Monday night, the CHP issued an Amber Alert after receiving the report from the LAPD regarding the disappearance of Daleza, who was last seen approximately at 4:00 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of Alsace Avenue and Ferndale, Motorwayin the Arlington Heights neighborhood.

The girl would be in the company of Ramón Fregoso, who apparently took her in a white 2019 Land Rover Discovery SUV, with a California license plate, vehicle that was later located near the border with Mexico.
