However, Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen would not be the only two clubs in Germany that would be interested. The report also includes Hoffenheim and Eintracht Farnkfurt like other possible clubs behind the Mexican’s services.
“His relentless pressure on the opposing defense is one of the most sought-after qualities among Bundesliga coaches,” the report adds in relation to the characteristics of Armando González that are liked in German football.
The report explains that from Germany they are aware of the high economic aspirations of Chivas de Guadalajara. It is estimated that Armando González’s value could reach up to €25 million euros ($29.2 million dollars).
There is an important ingredient to take into account. Armando González will be representing Mexico in the 2026 World Cup. A good World Cup for “La Hormiga” could revalue his record.
