What started as a rumor or a joke on social media ended up becoming a reality. Pope Leo XIV and the Puerto Rican artist Monstrous Bunny held a brief meetingor on Monday at Santiago Bernabéu stadium in Madridas confirmed by the Vatican.

The meeting took place within the framework of the coincidence of both figures in the Spanish capital. The Supreme Pontiff was at the sports venue leading a massive meeting with the diocesan community of Madridwhile the urban music singer is in the city on the occasion of his “I should have thrown more photo tour.”

According to ecclesiastical sources, The meeting took place in an atmosphere of strict secrecy after the Pope’s massive event concluded. Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio – the artist’s real name – went to the Bernabéu accompanied by his family and a small group of people from his immediate environment.

The leader of the Catholic Church briefly greeted the musical star and his companions in the stadium facilities before leaving.

Despite the enormous expectation generated, The Holy See noted that the meeting was handled with total discretion and that no photographs were taken of the two together.

The crossing of agendas had already been the subject of comments in the previous days. Even the archbishop of Madrid himself, José Cobo, and the pontiff had naturally addressed the simultaneous presence of both in the capitalsubtracting competitive overtones and highlighting the spiritual search of youth.

Although Monstrous Bunny expresses mystical references in his lyrics and has claimed to believe in God, he does not define himself as a practicing Catholic, which gives an even more unique character to this unexpected meeting.
