The meetings between stars on the occasion of the opening of the 2026 World Cup continue to be present on social networks. The most recent featured Belinda and Andrea Bocelli, who surprised by performing some verses of the song “Bésame Mucho” in front of the press.
The unexpected moment was immortalized through videos and photographs that soon arrived on platforms such as Instagram and X. In the clips you can see the Spanish woman and the Italian tenor singing the bolero of the Mexican pianist Consuelo Velázquez from the leisurely scenes of the National Auditorium.
After his performance, the audience present did not hesitate to appreciate the interaction with applause and shouts of emotion, among which phrases such as: “Long live Mexico!” stood out, alluding to the origin of the acclaimed song.
But what was the reason for the meeting? Let us remember that Belinda and Andrea Bocelli will be part of the FIFA Countdown Dwell efficiency, an event prior to the opening of the 2026 World Cup which will be held this Wednesday, June 10 in Mexico City.
According to the International Football Federation, This show will bring together international artists from the three World Cup venues (Mexico, the United States and Canada).
In the case of the Mexican headquarters, those in charge of entertaining the evening will be Belinda, Andrea Bocelli, Elena Rose and Los Ángeles Azuleswho in previous days have given an unprecedented look at the demonstrate’s rehearsals.
For its part, the demonstration in the United States will be led by Ava Max, BIA, Davido and Essential Lazer, a musical project led by Diplo. While Toronto will have the performances of THERE, Wyclef Jean, Bryan Adams, Nora Fatehi, Sanjoy, The Beaches and Vegedream.
The FIFA Countdown Dwell efficiency will take place at the National Auditorium in Mexico City this June 10 and the public will be able to follow it from anywhere in the world, live, through the Federation’s official networks starting at 5:00 p.m.
