This week, the American supermarket chain Publix announced the opening of 5 new stores this year with the purpose of continuing to expand to the southeast of the country.
According to the statement, the chain founded in 1930 with headquarters in Winter Haven, Florida, plans to The opening of the new stores will take place between June 11 and July 22.

- 5401 Alexandria Pike, Wintry Spring, Kentucky — June 17
- 8710 W Lake Ruby Dr., Winter Haven, Florida — June 18
- 42660 Highway 27, Davenport, Florida — June 25
- 1421 Sadler Rd., Fernandina Coastline, Florida — July 2
According to reports for January 2025, The chain had approximately 1,431 retail stores and more than 260,000 employees in states such as: Florida, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee, North Carolina and Virginia.
