June 14 will be a difficult day in several American cities, as the “No Kings” movement plans to spoil President Donald Trump’s 80th birthday by taking to the streets to protest. in response to what he considers has been a poor way of governing, ignoring the true demands of the citizens.
Through a declaration published on its website, The leaders of the movement call on citizens to come out and express their disagreement with the authoritarianism exhibited by the republican government.
The event is the day in which tribute is paid to the American flag, which takes on a special meaning, since the invitation to join the movement is launched to the 50 states of the nation represented by each of the stars embroidered on the upper left side of one of the most representative elements of a country built thanks to a multicultural effort.

On June 14, we stood up, raised our voices and continued organizing,” the call states.
During Donald Trump’s second stage at the helm of the White House, three events organized by the “No Kings” movement have been held.
The first took place on June 14, 2025, coinciding with Donald Trump’s seventy-ninth birthday and the United States Army’s 250th anniversary parade in Washington, DC
The other two editions were held in October of last year and last March.
What is significant is that the protesters have come out to protest in an organized and peaceful manner on a massive level.
For the edition to be held in a couple of weeks, the challenge will be to ensure that the protests are not overshadowed by the mixed martial arts performance organized on the south lawn of the White House.
