The return of Katy Perry The territory is closer than ever, as was announced during the official announcement of the billboard for the Potosina 2026 National Fair. According to the statement, The “Closing Friday Evening” singer will offer a free concert in Mexico scheduled for August 25.
It was during an event held at the Laberinto Museum of Sciences and Arts of San Luis Potosí that Governor Ricardo Gallardo Cardona confirmed the American singer as one of the stars who will lead the renowned event.
The Katy Perry display will take place at the Teatro del Pueblo, also known as “Stage of the Stars”, within the fairgrounds located in the capital of San Luis Potosí.
As in previous editions, access to the Teatro del Pueblo concerts will be free, considered a strategy to boost tourism and economic activity in the state.
For its part, The 41-year-old star shared the news with her fans through an unexpected video on Instagram. In it, he highlighted that his presentation will be part of his tour “The Lifetimes Tour”, so attendees will enjoy a tour of his classics and most recent hits.
“Well, I’m very excited about this announcement. I told you I’d be back and now I’m back. On August 25 at Fenapo, free display for all my Mexican Katycats. Let’s go!”said the artist from the audiovisual broadcast on social networks.
Likewise, the Grammy nominee announced that her presentation will be full of surprises: “I’m very excited. You’re going to love this display,” she said.
In addition to Katy Perry, the Potosina National Fair 2026, which will take place from August 7 to 30, 2026, will feature the stellar participations of Mötley Crüe, Yandel, Los Tigres del Norte, Lila Downs and Gloria Treviwho will be in charge of opening the event.
