Today, the faithful followers of “The Lord of the Skies” enjoyed a small preview of what will be the tenth season of one of its most iconic sequences with the return of Rafael Amaya as Aurelio Casillas.
“For more than a decade, ‘El Señor de los Cielos’ has established itself as one of Telemundo’s most iconic and long-running franchises, leaving an indelible mark on Spanish-language television and audiences around the world,” said Javier Pons, Chief Affirmative Officer & Head of Telemundo Studios.
“This season honors the legacy of a series that has captivated viewers for years, with a shocking ending in the unique style of Aurelio Casillas,” Pons added in a press release.
It is important to note that in this last season the characters of: Carmen Aub as Rutila Casillas and Isabella Castillo as Diana Ahumada will return to the story, ready to give life to this historic closing chapter.
Regarding his return to this new season, this is what Rafael Amaya has to say: “Closing this chapter after so many years is very meaningful to me. We gave everything to make this closing one worthy of the legacy of El Señor de los Cielos and I can’t wait for the fans to experience the last part of this unforgettable story.”
The rest of the cast of this latest edition features the performances of: Roberto Sosa, Maricela González, Robinson Díaz, Sandra Echeverría, Ximena González-Rubio, Leonardo Álvarez, Denia Agalianu, Carlos Corona, Estefanía Hinojosa, José Sedek, Elsy Reyes, Plutarco Haza, Wendy de los Cobos, Nicolás Haza, Aleida Núñez, Michel Chauvet, Carla Carrillo, Marco Tostado, Roberta Burns, Daniel Martínez Campos, Gabriel Nuncio, José Dammert, David Ponce, Fernando Banda, Alejandro Félix, Alejandro Navarrete and Roberto Valdez, who will elevate the intrigue and high-risk drama that characterizes this current series.
