This Monday, May 18, the deadline to register as a voter expires and receive the ballot by mail to participate in the California primaries.

Residents interested in registering can also go to government buildings, such as libraries, Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) offices and county electoral centers, where in most of them they can complete the process.
Every registered and active voter in California you have the opportunity to receive the ballot by mail and take advantage of the opportunity to return it on time by this means so that it can be counted in the primaries.

If a ballot is postmarked by the election date, June 2, and is received within seven days, the electoral authorities will process, verify and count it.
The Los Angeles County Records Office recommended mail ballots at least seven days before Election Day.
Before you submit your ballots, Voters should check the following:
- Place the marked ballot card(s) inside the official return envelope.
- Close the envelope tightly return officer.
- Sign and date on the back of the official return envelope.

The mailboxes are available to voters from 29 days before the election and They close at 8:00 pm on primary day.
