The Circle K convenience store chain recently announced that, throughout the summer, in commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the United States, it will offer discounts, promotions and savings to its customers.

The celebration begins this Thursday, May 7, with the so-called “Flame Day” or “Circle K Fuel Day” in more than 5,000 chain stores that sell gasoline. Discounts of up to 40 cents per gallon will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (local time).

For its part, Inner Circle members will have exclusive early access from 12:01 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (local time); In addition, they will be able to participate in the Fuel Your Summer season drawing, in which they could win one of the 250 Circle K gift cards, which are being drawn every week until July 4.

Louise Warner, executive vice president of North American Operations at Circle K, said: “The United States turns 250 only once, but our commitment to delivering stable value to our customers is permanent. At Circle K, every visit counts, and this summer we are bringing concrete savings on fuel, food and more to make each stop a little more accessible for those who trust us,” he said.

With this year’s initiative, company will raise funds from Fuel Day proceeds between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on May 7 and will allocate them to the non-profit organization Teenagers of the Fallen Patriots Foundation, which provides college scholarships to children of military personnel who died in service; It is expected to raise up to $250,000.

Customers who want to join the cause can make their donations at Circle K stores between May 13 and June 30, since, together with PepsiCo, the chain will also make a special donation.

This year Circle K hopes its customers can enjoy rewards and benefits, while each stop at one of its stores has something special to celebrate throughout the summer season.
