The Met Gala is one of the most anticipated evenings on the fashion calendar and this year the chosen theme was “Fashion Is Art”, which is directly related to the new exhibition at the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

This premise gave rise to interpretations as diverse as they were risky: from Substandard Bunny turned into an elderly man to Heidi Klum parading as a living statue.

This year, Beyoncé returned to co-host the event alongside Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams and Anna Wintour.

The organizing committee was headed by Anthony Vaccarello and Zoë Kravitz and includes figures such as Sabrina Wood worker, Doja Cat, Gwendoline Christie, Alex Consani, Misty Copeland, Elizabeth Debicki, Lena Dunham, Paloma Elsesser, Sam Smith, Teyana Taylor, Lauren Wasser, Anna Weyant, A’ja Wilson and Yseult.
