Copacabana beach is preparing to be the epicenter of a unprecedented event in the career of Shakira. Within the framework of the “Todo Mundo no Rio” cycle, the Barranquilla native will offer a free show this Saturday that seeks to surpass the attendance records previously established by figures such as Madonna and Woman Gaga.
The expectation reached its peak during the early hours of this Friday, when Thousands of fans already camping on Atlantic Avenue witnessed an exhaustive rehearsal which lasted until 1:20 am.
Shakiravisibly moved by the crowd cheering her from outside her resort, refined every detail of a staging which promises to be historic.
Guests and a nostalgic repertoire
One of the big surprises of the rehearsals was the appearance of the legendary singer and brazilian poet Maria Bethaniaconfirming a collaboration that unites pop with the essence of Brazilian Popular Music. It is anticipated that other local artists will join the stage to celebrate this cultural bond.
