The countdown to the Met Gala 2026 has begun. Next Monday, May 4, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York (MET) will open its doors to celebrate the “Costume Art” exhibitionan exhibition that analyzes the relationship between the clothed body and the history of art across five millennia.
Under the direction of Anna Wintour, The event promises to be one of the most eclectic to date thanks to its dress code: Vogue Is Art (Fashion is art).
The main protagonist of the night will be Beyoncéwho returns to the event as co-host after ten years. Next to her, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams and Wintour herself will lead the evening.
This creative team has been in charge of defining a guest list that, although kept under strict confidentialityalready has important names confirmed within the organizing committee.
Among the celebrities who They have already ensured their passage on the red carpet, figures such as Sabrina Carpenter and Lisa (Blackpink) stand out.along with established artists such as Doja Cat, Sam Smith and Teyana Taylor.
The representation of the business and social world will be headed by Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez.
In addition to those confirmed, expectations focus on the regular guests who usually define the trends of the night. The presence of icons such as Zendaya, Rihanna, Kim Kardashian and Circulation Bunny is expectedas well as the possible debut of Adele or the appearance of Blue Ivy.
Live coverage will begin at 6:00 pm (ET) and 3:00 pm (PT), allowing the world to witness how the stars interpret fashion as the highest artistic expression.
