The Devil Wears Prada 2
In this section we don’t like to include many sequels or successive seasons of a series but, when a devil wears Prada again, we have to make an exception. Exactly 20 years have passed since the overwhelming success that put Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt on the map – Meryl Streep, of course, was already a superstar long before – and which also consolidated the myth of Anna Wintour, the Vogue editor who inspired the character of Miranda Priestly. They all return in this sequel, and also Stanley Tucci, to the same roles they played in 2006. In addition, names such as Justin Theroux, Kenneth Branagh and Lucy Liu are added. With printed magazines in crisis due to the decline in advertising, the new film shows us Miranda (Streep) about to retire from “Runway” when she reunites with Andy Sachs (Hathaway), who returns to the newsroom as a features editor. Both will have to face former assistant Emily Charlton (Blunt), now the head of Dior, the luxury brand with enough funds to save the magazine.
Deep Water

A flight from Los Angeles to Shanghai breaks down in the middle of the Pacific and is forced to make an emergency landing. After surviving the accident, the survivors soon discover that they are not alone and must survive in shark-infested waters. Half thriller, half survival film, “Deep Water” features Aaron Eckhart and Ben Kingsley – in the role of the plane pilots – as the best-known names of the cast directed by Renny Harlin. Premiere in cinemas.
The House of Spirits

The family saga created by Isabel Allende in her famous novel now arrives as a series on Amazon Top Video with an international cast including Dolores Fonzi, Alfonso “Poncho” Herrera, Nicole Wallace, Fernanda Castillo and Juan Pablo Raba. The passions, struggles and secrets of the Trueba family span a century of violent social changes, across three generations of women, culminating in a crisis that throws the proud and tyrannical patriarch and his beloved granddaughter onto opposite sides.
man on fire

John Creasy (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) is a former Special Forces mercenary known for surviving the most difficult situations, who now suffers from intense post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Determined to overcome his personal demons, he embarks on a path of redemption that involves avenging the death of his partner while defending his daughter. 7-episode series inspired by the film of the same name that starred Denzel Washington in 2004. Now available on Netflix.
