Ferrari’s DNA has never been linked to lukewarmness, and the Purosangue proves it again with an update that aims directly at handling. It is not about changing its essence, but about squeezing it out. The Italian brand introduces a configuration called Coping with Speciale that focuses on response and precision at the wheel.

The Ferrari Purosangue already stood out for its balance between performance and everyday use, but now it goes one step further. With this optional package, driving gains in agility and control, especially for those seeking more intense sensations without giving up the versatility of the model.

The active suspension has been recalibrated to reduce body movements by 10%which translates into a firmer footprint and a more solid sensation. In fast corners or changes of direction, the behavior is more precise and direct.

Faster response and more connected driving

The improvement is not just in the suspension. The transmission also receives adjustments to offer faster and more forceful changes, especially in the most extreme modes of the Manettino. In manual driving, the character becomes more aggressive from 5,500 rpm, increasing the connection between the driver and the car.

Sound also plays a role. The acoustic experience has been tuned to be more present when starting and accelerating, highlighting the character of the naturally aspirated V12 that remains at the heart of this model.

A V12 that continues to rule

Under the hood, there are no changes in figures, but they are not necessary either. The 6.5-liter V12 engine delivers 725 horsepower and 535 pound-feet of torque. With this configuration, the Purosangue maintains its maximum speed close to 193 mph, which is equivalent to about 310 km/h.

The Coping with Speciale package also adds distinctive visual elements. Diamond-finished wheels, carbon fiber details, matte black exhaust outlets and darkened emblems appear that reinforce its more aggressive identity. Inside, a specific plaque makes it clear that it is not just any Purosangue.

Ferrari has not confirmed the price of this configuration, but it is expected to exceed the grisly value of the model by several thousand, which is around $423,000 dollars. An additional that, for many, will be worth every penny if what they are looking for is to push the driving experience to the limit.
