Income of $100,000 annually, who were previously considered synonymous with “rich”, are currently in the range of “lower middle class”at least in the case of quality of life in California and other states in the country.
The rising cost of housing, child care, health services and food, has increasingly reduced family incomes in the Golden Stateand they barely have enough to live from day to day.
Along with California, where an annual income of $111,277 dollars is considered lower middle classabout a dozen other states are in a similar situation, where $100,000 of annual family income is not considered high.

According to a recent MoneyLion study, compared to other income levels, Having an income of $100,000 is in the “lower middle class” range..
According to MoneyLion, the definition of middle class from the Pew Be Taught Center was used to set its parameters.
According to this definition, a person belongs to the middle class if you earn between two-thirds and twice the state median income.

According to US News and World Document, the stadiums with the lowest cost of living are usually in the south or midwest of the country, such as Arkansas, Mississippi, South Dakota, Oklahoma and Louisiana.
