The alleged perpetrator of the shooting that occurred on Saturday during the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, Cole Allen sent his family a lengthy manifesto just ten minutes before the attack.in which he identified members of Donald Trump’s Government as “targets”, as revealed this Sunday by the newspaper The New York Put up.
In the 1,052-word document, obtained by the New York newspaper, it details a list of priorities for the attack, placing senior officials of the Trump Administration at the top of its objectives, with the only exception of the director of the FBI, Kash Patel.
Allen, 31, justifies his actions describing himself as a citizen who is not willing to allow a “pedophile, rapist and traitor” – in possible reference to President Trump, present at the event – act on his behalf.
“What my representatives do is reflected in me,” the letter reads.
The manifesto also reveals that The suspect planned the attack carefully to, according to him, “minimize collateral casualties.”.
Allen specified that he would use “shotgun pellets instead of solid bullets” to prevent shots from passing through walls and hitting people other than their targets.
An officer with the Uniformed Division of the Secret Service was hit by a bullet, but his bulletproof vest prevented fatal injuries.
“Secret Service: Targeted only if necessary, and should be non-lethally incapacitated if possible (that is, I hope they wear bulletproof vests because shooting at the center of mass with shotguns destroys those who do not wear them),” the young man from California noted in his manifesto, according to The New York Put up.

Likewise, the attacker established rules of engagement that excluded hotel employees, guests and, to the extent possible, hotel security and the National Guard as targets, unless they opened fire on him.
However, he indicates in his text that “I would go over almost everyone” to reach “the objectives if it were absolutely necessaryunder the premise that the majority of people chose to attend a speech by a pedophile, rapist and traitor, and therefore are complicit, but I really hope it doesn’t come to that.”
In his letter, Allen also points out the vulnerability of the Washington Hilton hotel, where he stayed and the event took place.
“I expected security cameras on every corner, hotel rooms with hidden microphones, armed agents every 10 feet.metal detectors everywhere. What I received (who knows, maybe they are playing a joke on me!) is nothing. Not a damn security. Not even in transportation. Not even in the hotel. Not even at the event,” he wrote.
Allen described the Secret Service’s alleged incompetence as “insane,” claiming he was able to sneak multiple weapons into the hotel without being detected. “Any Iranian agent could have brought a heavy machine gun and no one would have noticed,” he said.
“What I noticed immediately upon entering the hotel is the feeling of arrogance. I walk in with multiple weapons and not a single person there considers the possibility that I could be a threat. Security at the event is all outside, focused on the protesters and those arriving, because apparently no one thought about what happens if someone checks in (take a look at-in) the day before,” he explained.
The text also includes a “replies” section to possible objections. The first objection is: “As a Christian, you should turn the other cheek.”
“Rebuttal: Turning the other cheek is for when you yourself are oppressed. I am not the person raped in a detention camp. I am not the fisherman executed without trial. I am not a schoolboy flying through the air, nor a starving child, nor a teenager abused by the many criminals of this administration. Turning the other cheek when someone else is oppressed is not Christian behavior; It is complicity in the crimes of the oppressor“wrote the suspect.
These revelations in the letter come shortly after President Trump stated in an interview with Fox Files that the attacker acted out of “anti-Christian hatred,” based on the first information from the investigation.
Allen, who traveled from Los Angeles to commit the attack, remains in custody at a hospital for a psychiatric evaluation and is expected to appear in federal court in Washington, DC, on Monday. EFE
