Benjamin Netanyahu, Israeli Prime Minister, announced that, a few months ago, he received a medical diagnosis indicating the presence of a cancerous tumor detected in his body.which forced him to immediately undergo treatment.
Through a publication on platform
“Today my annual medical report was published. I requested that its publication be delayed for two months so that it would not come to light in the middle of the war, in order to prevent the Iranian terrorist regime from continuing to spread false propaganda against Israel.
A year and a half ago, I underwent successful surgery for an enlarged benign prostate, and have been under routine medical care ever since. In the last succor to watch on, a small spot measuring less than a centimeter was discovered in the prostate. Upon examination, it turned out to be a very early stage of a malignant tumor, without spread or metastasis,” he wrote.

Netanyahu acknowledged he was forced to choose between two options put forward by the doctors in charge of his health.
The first consisted of just remaining under observation, since it is a common problem among men derived from advanced age and occasionally does not represent a risk.
The second alternative involved undergoing treatment to eliminate the problem and then waiting for a reaction in the body.
“You know me. When I receive information in time about a potential danger, I want to address it immediately. This applies both at the national and non-public level,” he stressed.
The Israeli prime minister also described the way he faced his problem and even made a suggestion to Israeli citizens.
“I attended a few short sessions, read a book and continued working. The stain disappeared completely. Thank God, I got over this too. I want to thank the doctors and wonderful medical teams at Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem. From you, citizens of Israel, I only ask one thing: take care of your health. Get checkups and follow the doctors’ instructions,” he emphasized.
Data from a survey conducted by the Hebrew University reveal that Netanyahu’s popularity among Jews is around 34%, which represents a decline of 6% derived from rejection of the war.
