Armando González is one of the Mexican figures of the moment in Liga MX. “La Hormiga” leads the resurgence of Chivas de Guadalajara in the local tournament. But González’s time in the Sacred Flock could be coming to an end. The goal of the Aztec striker is to reach Europe.
In a recent interview with Fox Sports, Armando González recognized that his jump to European football is his objective. The young Aztec striker acknowledged that he does not see his departure to the Old Continent very far away.
“Yes, it is one of my goals (to go to Europe). I feel like it’s short term. If I continue working this way, I know that some good team in the best leagues will notice me, but I have to continue working day by day,” González said.

In recent hours, reports have emerged that They link Armando González with Sporting Lisbon in exchange for $15 million dollars. A short-term exit would not be unreasonable. González could be among Javier Aguirre’s squad for the World Cup. A good tournament could revalue your chip.
In that sense, clubs interested in González’s services could close their transaction before the World Cup. It would be a feasible way to counteract a possible price increase after the World Cup.
Prefers Liga MX
Armando González is fighting for his second consecutive scoring title.
