They search for two doctoral students from the University of South Florida who have been missing for a week

Authorities in Florida investigate the disappearance of two doctoral students from the University of South Floridawho have not been seen since April 16 in the Tampa area. Both cases have been included in state and national missing persons databases.

The missing students have been identified as Zamil Limon and Nahida Bristy, both 27 years old.

According to University of South Florida Police, Limon was last seen at his residence in Tampa around 9:00 a.m. on April 16.

Bristy, for her part, was seen that same day at approximately 10:00 am inside the university campus, in the Natural and Environmental Sciences building.

Relationship between students and initial alert

The authorities confirmed that Both students are friends and that their disappearance was reported by a mutual acquaintancewho could not contact them after several attempts.

The alert was issued on April 17, when university police were notified around 4:50 p.m.

University authorities and the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office are conducting a joint investigation to determine the whereabouts of the students.

Both have been entered into state and national missing persons databases.

Limon is studying geography, environmental sciences and politics, while Bristy specializes in chemical engineering.

The authorities have requested citizen collaboration to obtain any information that could help locate the students.
