In an unexpected twist within the already highly publicized divorce from “Bennifer,” Ben Affleck decided to give Jennifer Lopez his entire stake in the luxurious mansion they shared, valued at tens of millions of dollars. This was revealed by TMZ after accessing court documents that show a “transfer of property between spouses.”
According to the sources cited by the media, Affleck gave JLo his share of the property completely free of charge. The couple acquired the mansion in May 2023 for $60,850,000 in cash. However, throughout their life together they invested additional millions in improvements.
The property is still for sale
As of July 2024, a month before Lopez filed for divorce, the house was for salebut so far they have not found a buyer. They initially offered it for $68 million.and in September they lowered the price to $52 million, without success.
At the moment, Jennifer Lopez continues living on the property while completing the renovation of another house that you recently bought.
The media reports that, at this moment, the actor can afford this. Sources suggest that the actor is in a more than comfortable financial position. Last month he sold his AI company, InterPositive, to Netflix for a staggering $600 million.
The luxurious residence is located in Beverly Hills and has approximately 11,500 square meters of surface. It has 12 bedrooms and 24 bathrooms. In addition to this, it has a garage that can fit around 12 vehicles.
There are also other areas such as an independent penthouse, a house for the maintenance person and another house for the interior most security. Other available spaces in the mansion are a sports room, gym, basketball courts and a boxing ring.
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez finalized their divorce in early 2025. Lopez was in charge of introducing the document, in August 2024and both alleged “irreconcilable differences,” although everything indicates that they have a cordial and respectful relationship.
