Superstar Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu
After the success of the series “The Mandalorian”, the Lucasfilm executives responsible for the Superstar Wars universe were not going to miss the opportunity to bring the character of Pedro Pascal and the cute Grogu to the big screen. The story places us in the period immediately after “Return of the Jedi”, the third film in George Lucas’ fashioned trilogy. The curious pair now embark on a new adventure when the evil Empire has fallen, but the warlords remain scattered throughout the galaxy. As the nascent New Republic works to protect everything the Rebellion fought for, they enlist the help of legendary Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin—now more selective about the jobs he takes—and his young apprentice Grogu, who continues his training. Directed by Jon Favreau, “Superstar Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu” also stars Sigourney Weaver. This movie was filmed for IMAX, so try to see it in that format or on the biggest screens you can find.
I Indulge in Boosters

A “booster” is someone who steals something from a store and sells it at a reduced price. In Oakland, a group of these professional thieves target a ruthless fashion mogul (Demi Moore). It’s like doing community service in an impoverished city. Written and directed by rapper Boots Riley (“Sorry to Trouble You”), the ensemble cast also includes Keke Palmer, Naomi Ackie, Taylour Paige, Poppy Liu, Eiza González and LaKeith Stanfield. Premiere in cinemas.
Jack Ryan: Ghost War

CIA agent Jack Ryan (John Krasinski reprises the character he already played in the series and now brings it to a movie) is forced to return to the world of espionage when an international mission falls apartforcing him to confront a rebel black ops unit. Ryan reunites with hardened Mike November (Michael Kelly) and former CIA chief James Greer (Wendell Pierce), aided by brilliant MI6 officer Emma Marlowe (Sienna Miller). Available in High Video.
Passenger

Every year, 130 million people take road trips in the United States. 15,400 never return. After a young couple witnesses a grisly accident on the highway, they soon discover that they did not leave the scene of the crash alone. A demonic presence called the Passenger, who will not stop until he claims them both, turns their life of adventure in a van into a true nightmare. Premiere in cinemas.
