There is less and less time until the start of the World Cup 2026 which will be held in the United States, Mexico and Canada. A few months before the start of the tournament, Mhoni Vidente indicated which are the possible candidates to win the World Cup.
Before the end of 2025, the Cuban medium offered her prediction about the 2026 World Cup. 48 teams will participate in this World Cup for the first time in history. Mhoni Vidente reduced his list of possible winners to only 3.
“As I see Cristiano Ronaldo very close to Donald Trump, one of the favorites is Portugal. The others, Spain and Argentina“, declared Mhoni Vidente at the end of 2025. A few weeks before the start of the World Cup, his predictions gain greater emphasis.
The first selection named is Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal. Several important pieces of the Portuguese team have expressed their desire to raise the 2026 World Cup in honor of Diogo Jotaformer Liverpool player who died in a car accident in 2025.
Portugal was paired in the Group K with the teams of Colombia, Uzbekistan and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. This last team obtained its pass through the playoffs.
The second selection in contention is Spain. La “Roja” is one of the main candidates for the title. The Spanish team has a very young group, but with filming behind themwhich would seek to win the second title in its history. Spain will be in the Group H of the World Cup with Uruguay, Saudi Arabia and Cape Verde. This is the only sector that brings together two world champions.
The last team in the prediction is Argentina. Lionel Messi will lead the Albiceleste in search of the two-time championship. The South American team dominated the qualifying rounds in Conmebol and has maintained a good pace since winning the World Cup in Qatar. The South Americans will begin their journey in the tournament in Group J against Algeria, Austria and Jordan.
