In addition to being a venue to receive important figures, the White House Ballroom will have an attack drone system to protect the security of the president of the nation.

During a meeting with representatives of some news media, Donald Trump showed them the progress of the construction of the Ballroom promised since last year.

Even though the seventy-nine-year-old president initially established an estimated cost of $200 dollars to develop the project, money that would come from donations from business groups, now everything indicates that completing it could exceed double that amount.

And the demolition of the east wing of the White House will create a true fortress even larger than the property inhabited by the president and his family.

“This is a shield that protects everything inside, everything on top. It will be the safest building ever built,” anticipated the New York tycoon.

The conservative politician’s idea is for the complex to be six stories deep and include a military institution, research facilities and meeting rooms.

Among its construction innovations is the “impenetrable steel” that will be part of its structure and the nearly four-inch thickness of its window panes.

Another point to highlight is that Its roof will function as a port for attack drones designed to protect not only the people in the White House, but a large part of the population living in Washington, DC.

“The roof is connected to the ground floor; the ground floor is connected to the roof. The roof also goes down to the basement. Everything is connected. Intertwined: elevators, heating, air conditioning. It’s one building. That’s why we try to explain that it’s a perfectly integrated building,” Trump said.

And to try to allay concerns about who will end up absorbing the cost of the colossal work, the New Yorker insisted that it will be a gift for all Americans.

“I paid for all of this myself. And I keep hearing that it’s not like that. We are giving a gift. This is a gift. The taxpayers will not pay for this. More than a gift. It is going to be one of the most beautiful buildings that has ever been built in the country or in Washington, DC,” he said.
