For his part, this Friday, the Foreign Minister of Iran, Abbas Araqchí, declared that Russia’s proposal to take Iranian uranium to facilitate a peace agreement with the US had to be left “for later”as negotiations are stalled at this point.
“It is not part of the negotiations (…) We came to the conclusion, given that it is (an issue) difficult and that we are almost at a stalemate on this particular issue, to postpone this to later stages of the negotiation,” Araqchí declared during a press conference on the sidelines of the meeting of BRICS foreign ministers in New Delhi.
