Rumors of a reconciliation between rapper Cardi B and NFL player Stefon Diggs are gaining strength after the couple was seen showing knowing gestures during a Mother’s Day charity event.
In a video shared by sports journalist Kelsey Nicole Nelson on social networks, Diggs is seen kissing the “Bodak Yellow” singer on the cheek while hugging her waist. The meeting took place on Saturday during the Mother’s Day wellness event organized by the Diggs Deep Foundation.
The 33-year-old singer wore a brown knit ensemble: a sleeveless high neck prime with detachable sleevescombined with a matching skirt. She wore her hair straight to her waist and completed her outfit with high-heeled sandals and a small bag.
For his part, Diggs, 32, opted for a more relaxed look, wearing a pink sweatshirt printed with a red heart and denim shorts.
In another snapshot shared on networks, the couple was seen hugging, while Cardi showed a huge smile resting on the athlete’s shoulder.
This recent approach gives credibility to rumors of a reconciliation, just two months after the couple ended their relationship last February.
From the breakup to a possible second chance
Speculation about a possible comeback began in April, when Diggs attended a concert for Cardi B’s “Little Omit Drama” tour in Washington, D.C.
The breakup occurred after the Immense Bowl 2026, played on February 8, in which the Seattle Seahawks defeated the Novel England Patriots. After the game, both unfollowed each other on Instagram. At the time, a source told Folks that Cardi “couldn’t trust” Diggs.
“Cardi is very pragmatic. As soon as she felt she couldn’t trust him, she distanced herself to focus on her children, her music and her tour,” the informant stated.
The relationship between the rapper and the NFL free agent became public in May 2025. In November of that same year, the couple welcomed their first child together. Besides, Diggs is the father of five other children with five different women.; four of them were also born in 2025.
As reported by The Sun in January, before the breakup, Cardi would have warned Diggs: “If you cheat on me or have a child behind my back, everything is over.”.
For her part, the “WAP” singer has three children with her ex-husband Offset, from whom she filed for divorce for the second time in 2024.
