The singer danna He has stood firm in the face of criticism launched against him from social networks. In a strong message, The Mexican rejects the narrative that accuses her of seeking external validation and continuing to promote the standards imposed on women in the industry.
From her Instagram profile, the “Khe Calor” singer assured that she is not willing to allow public opinion to dictate her actions. “I refuse to be a lukewarm woman. I refuse to live editing myself, filtering myself, lowering the volume of my voice so as not to make people uncomfortable. Because the truth is this: society cannot bear to see a confident woman.”he sentenced.
In his reflection, Danna stated: “They prefer us insecure so as not to confront each other, to not question their molds, so as not to lose succor an eye on. They want us ‘kind’, ‘easy’, ‘pleasant’. Not for love, but for comfort”.
And, according to the young woman’s testimony, women who are part of the entertainment industry are subject to “bittersweet” and “empty” standards that “change every week.”
