A Hispanic man and his one-year-old nephew died in a car accident caused by a driver who escaped early this Sunday in west Los Angeles.

Oswaldo Sandoval and his nephew, Roger, lost their lives, and a woman suffered injuriesin the hit-and-speed incident that occurred at 4:34 am in the 6800 block of Vista Del Mar, near the intersection with Culver Boulevard, in Playa del Rey, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) reported.
