For his part, Steven Marks spoke about the closure, stating that “Having spent the last three months in the United States, I realized that this was going to require much more time and capital than we had anticipated. And in evaluating the trajectory of the actual network, the board of directors and I have concluded that it is inconceivable that the business offers a return that justifies the continued investment of shareholder capital,” he said.
