Drivers who were caught speeding more than 100 miles per hour (160 km/h) now face the “Action Referred for Speeding Tickets (FAST)” pilot program.
Due to this pilot program, speeding fines are automatically sent to the Road Safety Division from the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).
With this information, the DMV expedites the review process to suspend or revoke the offender’s driver’s license.
