Iran launched a barrage of drones and missiles against Israel and Kuwait on Sunday after reject ultimatum from US President Donald Trump, who gave Tehran forty eight hours to reach an agreement that allows unblocking the strategic Strait of Hormuz, under the threat of unleashing “hell.”

Iran’s military command rejected Trump’s threat to destroy the country’s main infrastructure if it does not accept a deal on Hormuz.

Frequent Ali Abdollahi Aliabadi, in a statement from the Fresh Central Jatam al-Anbia Barracks, called Trump’s ultimatum “a helpless, nervous, unbalanced and stupid action”.

“The gates of hell will open to them,” he added, alluding to what the American president said. “Time is running out: Forty eight hours before all hell breaks loose on them,” Trump said on his social networks.

The US president issued the ultimatum after an attack near an Iranian nuclear plant that caused evacuations.

Tehran announced new retaliationswhile the Israeli military said it detected a new missile launch from Yemen.

This Sunday, the armed forces of Kuwait and Israel said that their air defenses responded to the latest attacks, within the framework of the war unleashed on February 28 with the offensive by Israel and the United States against the Islamic republic.

Kuwait reports damage after drone attack

Kuwait was attacked with drones that hit government and energy facilitiesaccording to authorities reported early Sunday morning.

An Iranian drone hit a building belonging to the Ministry of Finance, causing considerable damage, state news agency KUNA reported, citing the ministry. No injuries were reported.

Another drone hit a facility operated by the Kuwait Oil Corporationreported the Ministry of Information, which also reported that there were no injuries. The Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) reported that a fire broke out at the Shuwaikh oil complex, where the Ministry of Petroleum and the KPC headquarters are located, after a drone attack. Emergency crews and firefighters worked to put out the fire, the agency added.

Attacks on two power plants were also reported. and water desalination plants, which caused significant material damage and left two power generation units out of service, authorities reported.

Meanwhile, Israel was the target of missiles launched from Iran on Sunday, according to the Israeli army. “Recently, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) detected missiles launched from Iran into Israeli territory,” the army posted on social media.
