American actor Dwayne Johnson receives another year of life honoring his roots and celebrating his family legacy. This has been possible through a reflection that had as its protagonist the tattoo that has accompanied him since 2003 and with which he does not lose focus on where it comes from and what it represents.
The emotional message was spread from her Instagram account, giving details about the inspiration behind the piece that adorns part of her chest and left shoulder.as well as the long process it underwent for its realization.
“The art that is forever. Each symbol, each mark, tells a very profound story that is the reflection of my gratitude for my ancestors and the past of my life, my inspired hope for the future of life, and the most important part of the story of my life… living fully present, in the now,” the protagonist of “Rampage” began.
According to his story, the tattoo was achieved after long hours of design and more than one session in the chair: “My tattoo artist and I talked for hours, we definitely drank our kava, we definitely prayed, then we went to work. 3 total sessions. Over 60 hours. My ‘tatau’ was complete”he continued.
To accompany his writing, the actor known as “The Rock” left photographic evidence of the mark that adorns his skin. Despite more than twenty years that have passed since its creation, he feels more proud than ever to wear a symbol that represents him and his history.
“Love and respect to the exceptionally talented Mr. Frédéric ‘Po’oino’ Yrondi, whose art is reflected in tattoos that, two decades later, continue to embody our culture, heritage and stories that have helped shape me, and that I will proudly wear forever.”he said in conclusion.
This reflection by Dwayne Johnson becomes relevant because it was released within the framework of his 54th birthday, demonstrating that regardless of the spotlight and international fame, he remains firm in his goal of leaving his roots high.
