The actress Carmen Villalobos yesHe has joined the rest of his castmates in “Sin Senos Sí Hay Paraíso” to say goodbye to Nicolás Francisco Perdomo and Henry Alberto Cárdenasthe two members of the production who lost their lives as a result of a knife attack in Bogotá, Colombia, on April 18.
In a heartbreaking message posted from his Instagram account, the protagonist of the series spoke out about the tragedy that claimed the lives of her colleaguesbut not before expressing solidarity with the families of the deceased.
His tribute began with the publication of a photograph featuring dozens of white roses and on which he wrote the names of his companions.. After this show of respect, Carmen Villalobos posted a reflection in which she expressed her feelings about the events of recent days.
“I don’t know how to name what I feel. It is a heartbreaking, deep pain that runs through me and leaves me breathless. At times everything seems unreal, as if I were experiencing something that could not be happening. At times I feel dazed, paralyzed, trying to process something that doesn’t make sense. There is an immense void in the entire team and in the families because of everything that is happening,” lamented the actress.
Despite the pain that overwhelms all the members that make up the project, she said she was moved by the expressions of affection that have been obtained from the public and various international agencies such as ANDA (National Association of Actors in Mexico).
“At the same time, it is very nice to see unity and solidarity in the midst of something that is hurting us all. Thank you to those who have had respect and empathy for this moment“, he concluded.
It was last April 18 when the production of “Without breasts there is paradise” was the target of a knife attack in Bogotá, Colombia. The incident, caused by a 24-year-old man, resulted in the death of two members of the production: Nicolás Francisco Perdomo, transport producer, and Henry Alberto Benavides Cárdenas, driver on set.
Colombian authorities reported on the incident in a statement: “An incident occurred on public roads where a man, without saying a word, attacked a citizen with a sharp weapon.…Unfortunately, one person was injured in this event and three died, including the aggressor,” explained the commander of the Bogotá Metropolitan Police, Giovanni Cristancho.
For their part, Telemundo Studios and TIS Studios suspended the recordings scheduled for Monday, April 20 due to the emotional impact on the team and as a sign of respect for the memory of the deceased.
