Kylie Jenner’s situation is complicated after a second lawsuit was filed for alleged harassment, racial discrimination and non-payment of salaries. With this complaint filed before the Superior Court of Los Angeles County, the businesswoman’s case accumulates 20 charges.
According to information recovered by TMZ, The lawsuit was filed by a former collaborator of the socialite named Juana Delgado Soto.and this includes charges of alleged harassment, race discrimination, non-payment of wages and failure to prevent or correct harassment.
The document presented to the Los Angeles Court details that Soto began his employment relationship with Jenner in May 2019. Contrary to what was stipulated in his contract, he claims not to have received meal breaks or other personal permits.
Despite these failures, it is mentioned that the employment relationship extended until 2023, when a supervisor identified under the name Itzel Sibrian mocked her because of her foreign accent, as well as her immigration status.
Another of the episodes narrated in the lawsuit indicates that Sibrian had threatened Juana Delgado Soto with firing her for not staying late to work on her birthday. According to his testimony, Itzel would have responded to his disagreement in an arrogant manner: “No one cares about your birthday, Kylie has a dinner,” the letter reads.
This attitude unleashed a wave of complaints from Soto; However, the solution given to the situation was the temporary transfer of Itzel Sibrian to another position. Months later, she was reinstated in her position and, as mentioned in the complaint, This would have generated retaliation ranging from salary reductions to unreasonable assignments and unjustified changes to their work schedule.
Despite Juana Delgado’s attempts to communicate directly with Kylie Jenner to remedy the situation, the response she received left a bad taste in her mouth. And the court documents indicate that he was prohibited from “looking at and smiling at Kylie,” and that if he saw her, he had to “disappear immediately.”
In this sense, the authorities reported that Kim Kardashian’s younger sister is not directly accused of any harassing behavior in the lawsuit. Meanwhile, Kylie Jenner and her team have stayed away from issuing statements about the ongoing case.
