North West, daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, has just taken a giant step in her artistic career. At only 12 years old, the first-born of the famous couple launched at midnight on Friday, May 1 his first studio album, titled “N0rth4evr”.
The work, which comes in EP format, contains six songs with which North demonstrates surprising versatility, exploring genres as diverse as emo, trap, punk and steel.
This release not only includes the audio of the songs, but is accompanied by the music video of the indispensable song, “#N0rth4evr,” which was directed by Ty Akimoto and Mack Ishida.
What is known about the project?
With this project, little North seems to emulate the footsteps of her father, producer and Grammy winner Kanye West. It is not the young woman’s first foray into the world of music: previously He had participated in several of his father’s songs and collaborated with the artist FKA twigs.
However, his solo career officially took off in February with the release of their first single, “Piecing on my Hand.”
His growing confidence on stage was evidenced last month, when he accompanied Kanye West during a concert at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.where they both shared a live performance.
It should be remembered that this is not the first topic of conversation that North has generated in the household environment. Last year, her mother, Kim Kardashian, had to face criticism that arose when the girl appeared with fake facial piercings and tattoos, defending her daughter’s creative freedom.
