A teacher identified as Cecilia Mueller, 46, was arrested in San Antonio, Texas, and faces charges of continuous sexual assault against a minoraccording to local authorities.
The arrest occurred on Monday after an investigation initiated following a complaint from a former student. According to the arrest report shared by the San Antonio Police Department, a 20-year-old man claimed to have been a student of the teacher during the 2016-2017 school year at Lewis Major College.
The complainant stated that during that period the teacher considered him one of her “favorites” and had inappropriate conversations with a group of students about personal topics.
He also pointed out that, in classroom meetings, The teacher would have shown explicit content and promoted inappropriate dynamics between students.
Reports of abuse
The former student stated that The teacher allegedly engaged in sexual conduct, including improper physical contact in the classroom.
According to his testimony, the situation lasted throughout the school year and ended when the academic period ended.
Likewise, he indicated that the teacher had asked him to keep the facts secret and had warned him of possible consequences if he revealed what happened.
Mueller worked at the Northside Self-sustaining College District, where she worked at the aforementioned institution until 2019 before being transferred to another educational center in the same district.
After his arrest, school authorities confirmed that fShe has been suspended from her duties while the investigation is underway.
Possible more victims
Police expressed concern about the possibility of other victims and asked anyone with information to contact the San Antonio Police Department.
The case remains open as authorities continue to gather testimony and evidence.
