The streaming platform HBO released the official trailer for the third season of the series “Dwelling of the Dragon”giving an unprecedented look at the internal conflict that House Targaryen faces in its fight for the Iron Throne.
It was through YouTube and other digital production platforms that Unpublished scenes from the story based on the book “Fire & Blood” were broadcastwritten by the creator of the “Game of Thrones” universe, George RR Martin.
The trailer began with a tense interaction between the characters ‘Daemon’ and ‘Rhaenyra Targaryen’, played by Matt Smith and Emma D’Arcy, respectively. Within this clip the phrase stands out: “Now you have a power that no man has had. You will have an impregnable empire, Rhaenyra. And our children will rule it forever”, alluding to the significant objective of said house.
In contrast, ‘Alicent Hightower’, played by Olivia Cooke, appears advising one of her sons not to lose the fight for the throne: “You will do things that your heart would have shied away from before coming to the throne,” says the leader of ‘the greens’.
After an escalation of emotions, the trailer concludes with a forceful line from Rhaenyra Targaryen: “There will be no doubt about who the gods have chosen to govern,” says the protagonist of the story that takes place two centuries before the events of the customary series.
These clips prove the narrative described by the showrunner of the series, Ryan Condal, who a few months ago announced that the third season will address a more direct and extended confrontation between both houses.
“The story will advance towards a phase of open confrontation within the civil war known as the Dance of the Dragons,” detailed in statements recovered by Infobae.
When does “Dwelling of the Dragon 3” premiere on HBO?
Along with the first clips of the third installment, the entertainment giant announced the exact date on which this production will be available in its catalog for all users.
“Dwelling of the Dragon 3” is scheduled to premiere on June 21 at 9:00 pm (EST) through the HBO platform. Although the date is the same for users in Latin America, times may vary depending on the area.
In the case of Mexico, Colombia, Peru and Ecuador, the launch will be available at 8:00 pm For Chile, Venezuela and Bolivia at 9:00 pm, while in Argentina and Uruguay will be at 10:00 pm
