Daddy Yankee and Shenseea unite in “Echo”, third single from the 2026 World Cup

Just a few months before the start of the FIFA World Cup 2026, “Echo” has been released, the third single from the official album of this tournament. This topic is in charge of Daddy Yankee and Shenseea, and is co-produced by multiple Grammy Award winner, Tainy.

“Echo” intertwines the genres of dancehall and reggaeton over a common atrocious by combining the dynamic and fluid style of Shenseea with the influence of Daddy Yankee. Likewise, the song embodies the energy and dynamism of both musical genres, which in turn reflects the cultural connection between Caribbean and Latin sounds.

According to a statement from FIFA Sound, this single is co-produced by Maalouf, Massari, Adium, Jota Rosa and Albert Hype, which gives a new dimension to the official album: “With each theme, a broader cultural story is created, in which music and football intertwine to create a shared global experience”stands out in the writing.

For his part, Daddy Yankee said he was honored to be part of a project that celebrates two great passions of the public: music and sports. “It is wonderful to unite the world through music and football. It allows us to establish relationships that transcend languages ​​and borders,” said the exponent of the urban genre.

Following the Puerto Rican example, the Jamaican singer Shenseea expressed: “Music and football speak a current language. And to be part of something that unites the world in this way is special.”

“Echo” is now available for download through the main streaming platforms.

With this launch, It marks the beginning of a new chapter in this project to which world-class artists such as Jelly Roll, Carín León, Belinda and Los Ángeles Azules have already joinedwho gave voice to the songs “Lighter” and “Por ella”, respectively.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be played from June 11 to July 19, 2026 and this is a historic edition as it will have three neighboring countries as official venues: Mexico, the United States and Canada.

The first match of the tournament will take place at the Azteca Stadium in Mexico City and will feature South Africa and the Mexican team as hosts.
