Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin Ranted Against Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumerwhom he defined as a “lying and despicable politician.”
The pressure that prevails among Republicans derived from the lack of an agreement to finance the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) after almost 70 days without achieving progress with the Democrats caused the head of the DHS to rant against the politician from Brooklyn during an interview with the Fox News television network. after hearing the fragment of a statement where he maintains that no one anymore respects the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Service (ICE) or the Border Patrol (USBP).
“It’s hard for me to get angry, but Chuck Schumer you are the definition of a lying and shameless politician. “If you Googled yourself right now, you would be the very definition,” he said.
Likewise, Mullin made Schumer aware of the entry into the United States of millions of immigrants through the southern border lacking the necessary documentation to prove their stay, this for not raising his hand demanding that former President Joe Biden strengthen federal immigration agencies or even remove from their positions those who are responsible for safeguarding the security of the nation.
“You had time to change them during the Biden administration. You didn’t do it because You prefer open borders and criminals camping freely in our cities. And for you to say that is a great lack of respect towards the law enforcement forces that protect you. How about walking the streets of the city without an escort? “I wonder how safe he would feel,” he stressed.
Added to the DHS head’s comments was a message published by Donald Trump on the Social Reality platform demanding a public apology from the Senate minority leader for disrespecting ICE and the USBP.
“That is one of the most egregious, incorrect, unpatriotic and dangerous statements I have EVER heard from a ‘professional’ politician.
YOU MUST APOLOGIZE IMMEDIATELY TO THESE GREAT PATRIOTS, AND I SAY IT RIGHT NOW!,” wrote the 79-year-old conservative.
