The movement is not minor. Volvo launches a model that has already generated a high level of interest even before its arrival at dealerships.
An electric SUV designed for everyday life without limits
One of the most striking points of the EX60 is its autonomy. The model reaches up to 400 miles on a single charge, approximately 640 kma figure that places it in a very competitive position within the medium-sized electric SUV segment.
This approach responds to a fairly clear market need. Reduce dependence on constant recharging and offer an experience closer to that of a traditional vehicle in terms of freedom of use.
Advanced technology with integrated intelligence
The EX60 is not limited to improving autonomy figures. Volvo has integrated a more advanced technological ecosystem, where artificial intelligence plays a leading role.
The vehicle’s central system incorporates integration with Google and launch the assistant Geminiwhich allows a more pure interaction with the car. This includes more versatile voice control, real-time personalization and a more seamless digital experience.

Håkan Samuelsson, CEO of Volvo Vehicles, explained it in these terms during the announcement: “With this car we eliminated all remaining obstacles to electrification. This fantastic model is also a sample of what we are capable of at Volvo Vehicleswith an all-new product architecture that incorporates key technologies: mega-casting, cellular integration in the body and core computing.”
Three versions with different approaches
The EX60 range is structured in three configurations. The P6 version has 369 horsepower, rear-wheel drive and an 80 kWh battery.
The intermediate levelP10, incorporates all-wheel drive with 503 horsepower and 91 kWh battery. At the top is the P12, which reaches 670 horsepower and uses a 112 kWh battery.

Volvo maintains its signature style with a minimalist and functional approach. The EX60 features a clean design, with smooth lines and an aerodynamic coefficient of 0.26, which improves energy efficiency and reinforces its autonomy.
The interior follows the same philosophy. Ample space, sustainable materials and an almost total reduction of physical buttons. Everything is concentrated on a central screen and simplified controls, with a more open atmosphere thanks to ambient lighting.
The entry price of the EX60 is around $60,000 dollarswith the first deliveries scheduled for the summer.
