A Texas elementary school assistant principal died after being shot in the face inside her home in suburban Fort Value.in a fact that authorities classify as an alleged case of involuntary manslaughter.

After a preliminary investigation at the scene, authorities arrested Alberto Velasquez and charged him with involuntary manslaughter.

Tarrant County Jail records indicate that The defendant was released on Monday after posting $35,000 bail. So far, the date of his next court appearance has not been reported.
