During his participation in the inaugural conference of the Global Progressive Mobilization held in Barcelona, Spain, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz Turned Against President Donald Trump for plunging the United States and the rest of the world into a crisis because it triggered an unprecedented crisis.

“We have a pusillanimous and warmongering president who It dragged us into a war where there was no threat, without clear objectives or an exit plan. We must call it what it is: that is fascism. Or at least, a kind of fascism with fascist overtones, as they would do it,” he indicated.

From the perspective of the Democrat who aspired to become vice president, the United States is experiencing a serious democratic setback since Trump’s return to the White House.

We are witnessing an alarming consolidation of power. “A huge paramilitary force terrorizing our communities… a methodical weakening of our free press, independent judiciary, fair elections and all other accountability institutions,” he said.

Walz’s criticism also reached Vice President James David Vance, whom he blamed for his arrogance for not recognizing the mistakes that the staunch administration is making by entering into conflict with those who had been its allies for decades.

“Unlike our staunch vice president, I am not here to lecture you or arrogantly scold you.

I’m not here to fight with the Pope, nor to organize a rally with some local wannabe dictator.

Instead, I am here to thank you and share some ideas about what we can do to be part of a progressive movement that drives progress for all of our countries. The way we can free ourselves from these would-be authoritarians, both in your country and mine,” he emphasized.

The Minnesota governor’s words were supported by another Democrat present at the event, Chris Murphysenator from Connecticut.

This is the most significant threat to American democracy since the Civil War. Donald Trump is trying to end our democracy. He is trying to take control of our courts, our law enforcement, our media, our elections. Its objective is oligarchic capture.

We are not on the verge of a totalitarian takeover, we are in the middle of it,” he emphasized.
