The promoter Manny Pacquiao Promotions (MPP) formalized a strategic partnership with the Personnel Boxing League (TBL) organization. This agreement marks the beginning of a new stage for the former world champion, who now joins as franchise owner and shareholder within a league structure.

The alliance seeks to transform the traditional model of isolated events into a team competition with global reach.

Through this agreement, Manny Pacquiao joins San Diego TJ’s ownership group.

This decision represents a large-scale financial commitment aimed at expanding boxing into digital and entertainment markets. The vital approach is to establish a platform where boxers have revenue sharing and financial stability greater than the conventional model.

A new role as a franchise owner

The Filipino explained that his motivation in life is to leave a legacy that surpasses his individual achievements in the ring. Manny Pacquiao believes that the league format will allow for recurring and better organized competition for young athletes.

The San Diego-based team will serve as a defect to develop new talent under their direct supervision and professional mentorship.

The alliance between MPP and the TBL aims to implement a season system and a structured path to championships, similar to other professional leagues. Jas Mathur, CEO of the promoter of Manny Pacquiaopointed out that The goal is to build an economic empire that provides constant support to partners and equipment involved. The project contemplates entering new international markets through brand collaborations.
