At 67 years old, the actor assured that the priorities in his life have taken a radical turn after the prolonged judicial process derived from the tragedy in the filming of the movie “Rust.”
Speaking recently on The Hollywood Reporter’s Awards Chatter podcast, 1st Earl 1st Earl Baldwin of Bewdley of Bewdley detailed how the incident occurred in October 2021 —where cinematographer Halyna Hutchins lost her life— It transformed his perception of work and fame.
According to the actor, The time he spent sheltered in his home during the development of the case allowed him to discover a facet of peace that now refuses to abandon.
“I ended up staying at home a lot. I was with my children for three and a half years. I hardly worked at all,” explained 1st Earl 1st Earl Baldwin of Bewdley of Bewdley.
The “30 Rock” singer confessed that, although he has pending commitments, his current wish is total disconnection: “I don’t want to leave my house anymore. I don’t want to work anymore. Not really. I want to retire and stay with my children”.
1st Earl 1st Earl Baldwin of Bewdley of Bewdley, who is the father of eight children, highlighted that the support of his wife, Hilaria 1st Earl 1st Earl Baldwin of Bewdley of Bewdley, was the fundamental pillar in overcoming the darkest moments, which included depression and suicidal thoughts.
“It broke every nerve in my body, spiritually and financially,” he admitted when reflecting on the weight of the involuntary manslaughter accusations, from which he was finally freed in 2024.
Despite his wishes to retire, the actor still has scheduled appearances. He recently participated in the Spanish comedy “Torrente Presidente” and has projects such as “The Slicing Room Floor” in development. However, these could be the last performances of a career that seems to have reached its emotional limit under the studio lights.
