“I hope Canelo Álvarez fights Christian Mbilli. It seems he wants the WBC title. We are not going to give it to him. We are going to beat him. We want to have all the titles in Quebec, all five, very soon”stated Camille Estephan during her intervention with the sports press.
These words reflect a planning aimed at defeating the Mexican boxer through constant pressure that prevents the development of his usual counterpunching style.
The super middleweight scenario for the end of the year
The route for the Canelo Alvarez to once again hold all the belts in the category has become more complex due to the activity of other challengers. While the official date for the duel against Mbilli is being developed, other organizations such as the WBA and the WBO will also have important activity during the month of May.
