Rebecca Renee Haro, mother of Emmanuel Haro, a 7-month-old baby who went missing in Riverside County, was sentenced to almost 13 years for her role in the alleged murder of her son.
On Friday, May 29, the mother pleaded guilty to the charges child endangerment with serious injury, involuntary manslaughter and accessory after the fact, in a Riverside County court.
Rebecca Renee Haro’s guilty plea was part of a deal with the Riverside County District Attorney’s Officewho dropped the murder charge.

Immediately, Superior Court Judge Jerry Yang He imposed a sentence of 12 years and eight months in prison on Rebecca Haro.
The court He was credited with 323 days for the time he has already served under arrestaccording to the data presented at the hearing.
Rebecca Renee Haro did not file a statement during the hearing in Riverside County Court.

In November 2025, Jake Haro, Emmanuel’s father, was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison. after changing his plea from not guilty to guilty of murdering his 7-month-old son.

At the beginning of June 2026, Emmanuel Haro remains missingafter having been last seen in August 2025, according to the information available in the case.
The authorities maintain that the minor suffered before his disappearance and presumed deathalthough the baby remains missing.
